The North Of Forty Club

Natalie Garay is thriving after 40 and helping others transform and rewriting the script of aging from something to fear into something to celebrate.
Proudly setting the example for the next generation, not as women who disappear as we age, but as women who take up more space through every stage of life.
The North of 40 Club is about rewriting the narrative we’ve been fed. It’s about putting our needs first and showing up bigger, bolder, and wiser, to take up space and create a second act that excites us.
Say Yes to Transformation
I used to feel fried, unmotivated, and like I was fading into nothingness. It wasn’t until I shifted my mindset to transformation—looking deeper at the process our body experiences as we increase in years and seeing it as an opportunity for reinvention—that things started to change. I’m here to tell you that being north of 40 can be your most empowered, vibrant chapter yet. By prioritizing our bodies and minds, we’re not just aging gracefully; we’re aging powerfully.
Nourish with Naturopathic Wisdom
In 2022, I went back to school to study naturopathic medicine after my mother passed from Dementia and my daughter experienced a cannabis-induced psychosis because I wanted to go deeper—both for myself and for the women I serve. Understanding the impact of hormones, nutrition, and stress on our bodies gives us the power to make informed choices and advocate for ourselves. When we give our body what it needs—whether it’s the right supplements, sleep, or nourishing food—it responds by feeling energized, calm, and alive. My audacious goal is to help women transform their bodies after 40, and this holistic approach has been key.
Heal with Nature
After dealing with my own emotional ups and downs, as a solo mother of 3, I discovered Flower Essence Therapy. It’s amazing how these natural plant-based remedies can bring about a deep sense of balance when your emotions feel like a rollercoaster. Flower essences support you through the fluctuating moods of midlife, gently realigning your body on a cellular and energetic level. Adding this tool into my daily routine has been one of the most powerful ways to support emotional resilience.
The Power of Small Habits
Reclaiming your life after 40 isn’t about massive, overwhelming changes. It’s the small, daily habits that add up to big results. A morning walk to soak in the sunlight, a glass of lemon water before coffee, a quiet moment to journal—these are just a few habits that build a foundation of well-being. I know it’s easy to feel like there’s not enough time but trust me, putting yourself first for even 10 minutes a day and slowly adding to it will be life-changing. If you’re like me, you’re not looking to just survive, you’re ready to create some lasting change in your lifetime for yourself and others.
Mindful Movement
As a Pilates instructor specializing in pregnancy and birth rehabilitation, I’ve seen firsthand how movement can be transformative. Bladder leakage and back pain might be common among moms, but they don’t have to be a life sentence. Focusing on mindful movement can strengthen the pelvic floor, support the lower back, and improve posture. Whether it’s Pilates, yoga, or a simple morning stretch, regular movement doesn’t just strengthen your body; it restores confidence, and energy, and revitalizes us inside and out.
Being north of 40 doesn’t have to suck, with the right care providers and information, life can be better than it ever was. We have the choice to keep our heads in the sand or make an active decision about how we want to live. For me, that looks like living a healthy life for another 50+ years with my wits and my tits about me. I’m 48 but my biological age is 33, motivating me to help women look at health and well-being from a preventative lens rather than playing defense. We shouldn’t listen to the bullshit that women have been fed about life being “downhill” after a certain age. Let’s look at our midpoint in life, and the symptoms that our body is using to talk to us, as a time to listen, look deeper, and use this as a time to reboot, recharge, and renew.
It’s time to take the wisdom you’ve gained, nurture yourself fully, and grow into the vibrant, unstoppable woman you were always meant to be. Welcome the new chapter as an opportunity to kick some ass and accomplish your dreams, and create a new world for the next generations.
